No modo capitalista de produção a instalação de motores e condicionada pela taxa de Iucro, que inclui o encargo de amortização da potência. Para o estabelecimento destes encargos, a extensão do mercado e determinante, o que introduz factores históricos e aparentemente aleatórios.
