A fé em tempos de guerra: A experiência religiosa dos combatentes portugueses na Primeira Guerra Mundial
Abstract
Resumo: O presente artigo tem como objetivo compreender as experiências religiosas vividas pelos militares portuguesas durante a Grande Guerra nos três teatros de operações em que as forças nacionais combateram: sul de Angola, norte de Moçambique e Flandres. Como fontes de investigação foram usadas as memórias, diários e crónicas de guerra. Tentámos analisar a vivência religiosa coletiva e individual e a forma como foi evoluindo ao longo da guerra. Explorámos as razões que levaram ao seu florescimento e os fenómenos que lhe deram relevância.
