Crime e castigo no Porto de setecentos: relato poético de um enforcamento falhado
Abstract
Na passagem dos 150 anos da abolição da pena de morte em Portugal para os crimes civis, este artigo estuda e edita um longo poema anónimo, provavelmente do início do século XVIII, sobre um enforcamento falhado na cidade do Porto. O autor sublinha as informações documentais fornecidas pelo texto e discute o sentido da sua orientação satírica.
