Abstract
Quando chegaram a Lisboa os primeiros soldados mutilados, pouco ou nada havia que acudisse à sua nova condição. Foi na resposta a esta premente necessidade que surgiu o Instituto de Mutilados da Guerra, anexo à Casa Pia de Lisboa, e que procurou apoiar, reeducar e readaptar os nossos inválidos da guerra, preparando-os para o regresso à vida activa.Downloads
