Abstract

O Partido Republicano Nacionalista era o segundo partido mais importante na fase final da I República.Representava a linha política republicana conservadora alternativa ao Partido Republicano Português,que reivindicava representar a linha radical e histórica do republicanismo e que permanecia comopartido dominante do sistema político. Neste estudo pretendemos traçar o perfil social da elite do PartidoRepublicano Nacionalista e caracterizar a sociabilidade política deste grupo dirigente.
