Padres e frades : de malditos a corruptos

Abstract

This short study concentrates on the figure of the priest/friar within the context of the large gallery of Camilo’s characters: on the one hand the series of kind-hearted clerics, who are in general of little relevance; on the other hand the cursed, corrupt and self-seeking who take on a determining role in the texts in which they are present and whose profile evolves according to the aesthetic options of their creator.
