Antropologia e silêncio: veredas do pensamento pré-colombiano

Resumo

Resumo: Neste artigo, considera-se as críticas de Michel Foucault e Henrique C. De Lima Vaz à «morte» do homem e à entrada dos povos americanos na história, respectivamente.
Tem-se em vista responder a essas críticas mediante a análise da compreensão antropológica na obra Popol Vuh. O intuito fundamental responde à questão: há uma «antropologia pré-colombiana» que foi silenciada pela história narrada pelo colonizador?

Abstract: In this article, we consider the criticism of Michel Foucault and Henrique C. De Lima Vaz to the «death» of man and to the introduction of American peoples in history respectively. We have in view to answer to these criticisms through an  analysis of the antropological understandings that can be taken from the work Popol Vuh. The essential purpose of this study relates to the following question: Is there a «pre-Colombian anthropology» that was made silent by the history told by the colonizers?
